The proposed Disease Prevention and Screening Center (DPSC) facility is a G+2 structure with underground parking. The building, principally, is a medical visa screening facility and will replace an existing facility which presently operates at a location adjacent to the Sheikh Khalifa Medical City on the Abu Dhabi city island. Beyond the medical screening building use, however, is the expanded purpose envisioned by SEHA that the building provide services from other governmental authorities and private entities for foreign nationals arriving in the UAE. These services include: application for national identity card, application for health insurance and any required activity with the Immigration Authority.
